| About Christie's childhood and adolescence we know not too many facts. She was a baby when her father died and being a little girl she was sexually abused by her stepfather's son. The family always considered that Christie was the pretty one and Mary was the smart one. Then Mary went to the convent so Christie was left all alone and she tried in her own way to cope with the difficult situation. Keeping girl's faith in the prince on a white horse she tried to get the love of men by not completely moral ways. |

| When Ted Capwell appeared on her way Christie instantly decided that they love each other. Then Ted helped her get the job as Brandon's nanny and Christie took it as a sign of his love. Ted misunderstood her and keeps having relationship with Laken Lockridge who he loved so very much. |

| Then Steve Basset came to the town and began to harass Christie again. However Mary arrived also but she did not remember that Steve once tried to molest her also and treated Steve so very good. |

| The situation grew tense. Steve stalked Christie, Christie followed Ted as his shadow and dreamt about their true love, Ted loved Laken and really did not see Christie's love, and Mary felt good because her family was reunited. And she cannot see why her sister becomes so afraid when she sees Steve. |

The blown-up occurred on the day when Christie stolen Ted's present for Laken — the bracelet. Christie admitted Ted that she's in love with him, but stunned Ted replied that he do love Laken, not Christie. Upset Christie decided to leave her work as Brandon's nanny and while she was goes out Ted finally saw that Christie have his bracelet on her arm. He immediately demanded it back. But Christie did not give it.
They quarreled and Christie ran to the sneak bar. Ted found her there and tried to persuade to give the bracelet again. They quarreled more once and Christie furiously scratched his cheek. Ted snatched the bracelet and left. Steve saw whole scene. He came in the bar and raped Christie. |

| She lay under tables in the bar until the early hours of morning when she accidentally was found by Mary. Christie was semiconscious and kept repeating "Ted, Ted". When she awoke in the hospital, she saw a lot of people among Steve. Cruz asked who raped her and Christie said "Ted." |

Ted was charged with rape.

He was arrested but later released on bail with the restraining order. But Ted not obeyed. He did not understand why Christy decided to accuse him of rape and he want to see her to find out it. He asked Jade Perkins to arrange the secret meeting with Christie at Perkins's home. Christie came here and Ted tried to find out why she had accused him of the crime what he did not commit. May be Christie eventually would tell him about Steve but then Mary came in. She verbally attacked Ted and called the police. As a result Ted was returned to the prison cell. The trial began. Christy keeps her lips closed, afraid that Steve would kill Ted.
However after the guilty verdict she broke down and stated that in fact she does not remember who raped her. The judge took this and Ted was discharged.
After her perfect slip Steve did demand Christie to obey him (including having sex) and Christie ran away because she's even more afraid of Steve now and realizing that she had to protect herself and Ted. Accidentally shot Steve with her stepfather's gun Christie panicked. Saw her shooting Ted suggested her not telling the police the whole truth and to tell the story about Steve wanted to kill Ted pointing the gun at him and about Christie who shot him to save Ted's life. Police and D. A. office not believe them and at the last moment before the charging in the murder (Christie) and accomplice (Ted) they finally said all truth. Christy's shot was accepted as self-defense. |
