Chapter 12 — Two days after"But I saw her! She looked exactly in my eyes, and then wanted to tell something! Kelly, you must to believe me!" Mason convinced more himself, than his sister. But he was not ready to give his hope. Actually it was sole that he have now."
"Mason, do you want to tell that you saw Mary in this house and she looked at you?" Kelly worried frown. Mason thought that she does not know if she can trust him or not" he understood as far as his words absurdly sound," but she actually was in complete confusion. To tell him, if he already saw her? Or he saw nothing, and then she will kill him by her news about Mary?"
The rescue comes from Eden.
"Kelly, go in the study to the father. It is urgently case!"
"I go," Kelly with relief left out and come to CC. "Daddy, I just talking with Mason. He state that he saw Mary and that she looked at him. And even tried to tell something."
CC stunned with any paper in his hand.
"What did you tell him?"
"Nothing," Kelly sat on the chair. "But we can not wait. Mason's condition becomes worse and worse that connected with the fact that we hide the truth about Mary. And if you will not tell him" I will do this."
"And you will kill him by it."
"Daddy, he already saw Mary. And he is alive."
"Do you sure? Probably, he thinks that it was just dreaming…"
At the point in the CC's study come in excited Dr Lewis.
"I have good news. I just now overlooked Mary's monitoring data for the last 3 days. It seems that our patient have serious progress. I think that she partially did wake up in two of days ago. It is too pity that nobody was not beside her!"
"Daddy, you were heard?! Mason speaks the truth. It was happened two days ago. He really saw her! And she did wake up in this moment! We must to tell him the truth!"
"Which is the truth, Kelly?"
She looked back and sees that at the door jamb stay Mason. His eyes flashed, on his cheeks were bright-red spots.
"Which is the truth?" repeated Mason with half-tone higher. "I want to know."
"Kelly, don't dare!" CC turned pale and is up."
"I am sorry, dad, but… Lets go, Mason."
Kelly takes him by his hand and lead out to guest rooms of the first floor. When they come to the door Mason suddenly shaken with strong feeling "deja vu". He already came here!
Kelly knocked in the closed door and after nurse opened the lock she whispered her something. The nurse nod and come in the deep of the room. Mason with rigid legs walk inwards of the forbidden room.
There are everything was just how he can remember. Everything stood on the same places. He made a few steps and again was lowered on his knees before bed where lay Mary. He touched her hand, stroked her fingers. And again as two days ago as Mary's eyes is open and look at Mason. And then her lips silently move.
"Mary…"
After Lewis's sign, the nurse comes to them and given to drink Mary. Mason furiously turned back to CC. "So you knew, are you?! You knew!"
"Mason… You must not…" these words reminding more a rustle then speaking amazed Mason up till the depth of his soul. Till now whole happened he see as some unreality, just as continuation of his dream. But now he felt that everything is real life. Mary — Mary, who was thought be died and buried on the cemetery — Mary actually alive. She speaks with him. Mason closed his eyes because the room begun to dance around him.
"Mason, what is wrong!" Kelly rushed to him. "I am sorry, I did not want to harm you!"
"I am OK," Mason focused his sight on his sister. She embraced him for his shoulders. "Doctor, how is Mary?" beginning to ask Mason, but suddenly he noticed something strange in Mary's shape. On the place, where she had her stomach, was the strange bump…
"My God!" Mason jump up. "She will have a baby? Our baby not died!?"
From shock he said these words too loudly, and devices, showing Mary's condition, are alarmed.
"Mason, go out!" Dr Lewis lead out Mason in the corridor and locked the door after come in himself.
"Open! I said "open"!" Mason furious banging his fists over the door. "I want to see her!"
The door is open, letting out Dr Lewis, and at once was closed again. Mason had time to see only the nurse near Mary's bed.
"Mason, calm down! She will OK! Listen to me," he takes in hands Mason's face, forcing Mason to look in his eyes. "She and the baby both will be OK. But she should have a rest. Now the nurse will make the injection of tranquillizer to her, and then you can go to her. Not worry, she will OK."
Mason leant against the wall. For the last 15 minutes here taken place so many events that it seems already that OK cannot be after all…
Dr Lewis given to drink him the bitter medicine, and Mason felt a little bit easier, and then Lewis let Mason to enter in the room.
Mason cautiously comes close to Mary's bed. She was sleeping. Now he can see that she is dreaming — absolutely not like how she did when he come in for the first time. He sat on the edge of the bed and takes her hand. Mary smiled in sleeping, and her lips quietly made his name. Mason never read by lips, but now he has no doubts about her saying. It was his name. He whispered "Mary" and, sowing on the floor, become to wait for her wake up. He was really happy…
