Chapter 9 — Two months and four weeks after"Mason, you cannot come in!"
"Why?" he turned back on the half-way.
"You cannot," already less surely repeated Eden. It is not simple right away to make any suitable explanation. "This was told by your doctor."
"Told by Lewis that I cannot go in this room? But what make it as special?" Mason seems sincerely surprised.
"There… It have, it is simple… Just he told that in it have there are enough things which you will get your nerves."
"Get my nerves?"
"Yes," Eden become feels that she goes on firmer ground. "He just told exactly this."
"Well, OK," Mason moves by shoulders.
He left out, and Eden with relief take breathes. She hardly got out!

"Daddy, look here that I found!" Kelly rushed into the study where CC is sitting and put the newspaper under his nose. "Look!"
"What is it?" CC comes off from business papers. "What is matter?"
"Look!" Kelly point by the finger in the place on pages. "Here!"
CC looked in the place, where Kelly showed him. The column of death and births. He began to read it and in middle of the list he saw the familiar name. "Mark McCormick". He turned the newspaper and glance its name. Santa Barbara Times. It means that he was really Mark McCormick who was known here.
"Yes, he is" said Kelly as if she heard his thoughts.
"In the case, I am glad that he is in the hell where he was belonging always," CC put the newspaper on the table. "But why you are excited? No way to sorry for this bastard!"
"I am not sorry him! Daddy, well, really you do not notice this?"
"What I should notice?"
"Look, he died in the same day, when Mary did almost wake up!"
"Lower, please! Do you sure?"
"Yes! Look on dates!"
CC taken the newspaper again.
"Yes, it is valid. Just the surprising march. But it is better Mason don't need to see this newspaper. Take away it!"
"Dad, do you think he will be upset, if he will see the message about Mark's death?" Kelly even opened her mouth with surprise.
"I don't. But it is better doing not remind him about the whole accident."
"You brought Mary in this house and do not want to remind Mason about her accident???"
"Well, I had enough!" CC tap by his palm on the table. "Take away this newspaper and stop to interrupt of recovering of your brother! It seems that I am the one of whole family take care about him!"

"I want to come in here!" cry upset Mason. "Do you are out of your mind??? I do know this house from my being baby!"
"I know nothing about, but I cannot let in you," the nurse looks at him. She already is writing in mind the text of the statement about her exiting. She was not hired for guarding of this room!
"I want to come in! Now!" Mason unhesitatingly becomes come to the room, where the entrance was closed by the nurse. "I don't care about all orders of my father!"
"What is matter?" for the help of the nurse Eden came here. "Mason, you are out of you mind? What you try to do?"
"Mr. Capwell had given me the instructions to let in nobody in this room," interfered the nurse. "I just doing my work," she guilty looked at Mason. He like her.
"Mason, why you want to come in there? Your doctor told…"
"I don't care about Lewis! I want to enter her, now!"
"You cannot!"
"I can!"
"Let in him," suddenly heard CC's tired voice. "Let in him."
"But Dad…"
"I told that he can enter. It is useless longer to hide…"
Mason made the step to the closed room, one more, pushed the door and…

"NO!" Mason sat up on the bed with his heart beating somewhere in his throat and in cold sweat. The room is dancing before his eyes. It was the awful nightmare, but it prompted the solution for him. He should enter the room and see all!
And now! In his pajamas Mason fast walked to the room, where obviously was hidden a secret. He stopped before her, a few moments stayed in indecision, and then suddenly upset he open the door by the one tug.
The room was empty. Well, it has the furniture, but anybody and anything special Mason do not saw. Disappointed Mason stay in the middle of the room and suddenly felt that bally wants to sleep. Just deadly… He plods to the bed in this room, lay on it and just slip the very deep dream.
