"I can prove that this person is our dad," Christie replied. "I have his photo. Well, that man whom I saw in our cafe."
"Who gave it to you?" Surprised Mary even let off Mason's hand.

"A similarity? Yes, he is similar at our dad as two drops of water! Look!" Christie put up her pictures closer to Mary's face.
"But if he is your father, why he does not contacted to you?" Mason asked. He's kept his silence till now.
"He cannot be our father! It is completely impossible," Mary shook her head. "I already spoke you, I attended at his funeral."
"But who is he then?" Mason taken the photo from Christie. "If you agree that this person is similar to your father?"
"I do not know, who he is, but he is not my father," Mary obstinately repeated.
"OK and if we come in from the other side? If you saw your father in the coffin, Mary? If you saw his face?
"I did, but only from a far place. And his face almost absolutely was not visible. But you cannot think that so much people could pretend playing funeral, cannot you?" Mary reflected.
"To pretend — hardly. But may be they were fooled? Look and why you do not want to ask your mother?"
Mary exchanged understanding sights with Christie.
"I don't," Mary shortly answered. "It is useless."
"But why? She must to know better then yours both do."
At this point they heard that the door is knocked.
"Come in," Mason turned his head.
On the threshold they saw Rosa.

Mason looked back at Mary, and then nod.
"Yes, now we will come down."
"I need to go," Christie jumped up. "M-r Capwell don't like me ever," she ingenuously explained. "And to the point, where is Ted now?"

"It is good because it seems to me that soon we will become one family," she's spiteful and goes out after kissing her sister in the cheek.

"Your sister is very smart," he said with a wide smile.
"Really? And you don't notice this until now?"
"I noticed now," Mason smiled. "Our baby has all chances to become the genius! He or she have so much intelligence from own parents."
The last words have sounded so proud that Mary cannot help but chuckled. And then she seriously told: "Mason if you do not think what your words is not too good? I mean if you will to love our baby more than Chip or Samantha. It would be wrong."
He shook his head.
"I will love them equally. I will have not favorites as my father had!"
The last words were told with such passion and tension that Mary regretted that she start this subject.
