Great Thanks to Svetlana from Vladivostok!

Mason talks to Mary after New Year party
Mason: Mary, I need a nurse.
Mary: Why?
Mason: I am a very sick man. Mary, I need a medical examination.
Mary: You are very hungover, Mason.
Mason: You wouldn't discriminate against me just because you didn't like my disease. Would you? (begins unbuttoning)
Mary: What are you doing?
Mason: Oh, you cannot examine me with my clothes on.
Mary: One more button and I call in the police.
Mason: Medical people are supposed to help you, not threaten you, even if they don't like you. Don't you take some kind of oath?
Mary: Just not that I can do for you, Mason.
Mason: Do you still have a pearl, Mary? The one I had made into a necklace for you?
Mary: Yes.
Mason: That was supposed to be our first night together. Do you remember?
Mary: Mason…
Mason: I missed you on the New Year's Eve. I did everything I could not think about you.
Mary: I feel sorry for your girlfriend.
Mason: My what?
Mary: Mason, I don't believe you! That lovely girl is wondering around your room this morning, you don't remember who she is!
Mason: Of course I remember who she is, it's just…
Mary: Look, I don't want to judge or be critical. We are just far to different to make a gold things, Mason, I think I always new that, I just didn't want to believe it. I let things get you far irresponsible for that but it's over now.
Mason: You are right, it's over. Happy New Year, Mary.
Mary says Mason who is pretending being sleep that she loves him
Mary (stroking Mason's forehead): Are you asleep? You never know how frightened I was when I saw you lying there, I never felt so helpless. I tried to hide it but it's there every time I see you. I love you. I wish I didn't but I do.
The next day
Mary: Good morning.
Mason: It is now.
Mary: How are you doing?
Mason: Oh, still a little rocky, you don't get over poisoning all at ease, you know.
Mary (feeling his forehead): You don't seem to have a temperature.
Mason: I don't seem to have a pulse either; I don't seem to have a lot of things these days.
Mary: I think you're fine.
Mason: Thank you, I think you're fine too. Coming to my party, aren't you? Mean a lot to me.
Mary: Oh, Mason, no, that's a family thing.
Mason: But I want you there.
Mary: I am sorry. I have a work to do.
Mason: “I tried to hide it but it's there every time I see you.” – Remember saying that to me? Last night, when I was lying in bed, sick. You said something else, was it… Oh yeah: “I love you” – you said. “I wish I didn't but I do.” Not going to go on it back now, are you, Mary? Thing said over sick bed is sacred.

Mary: You heard that? You heard everything I…You lay there and you pretended be sleeping, you just let me go on like that?
Mason: Seemed like inopportune time to let you know that I was awake.
Mary: Inopportune… Oh, Mason, that is you in a nutshell. Never mind what someone else is feeling, as long as you're having a good time. Right? Look, I got in this for you, I didn't mean a word of this, it's kind of thing what you say when you feel a little compassion for somebody.
Mason: That you love them? Pretty compassion, isn't it?
Mary (shouting): All right, all right, I had a moment of weakness, because I looked down you and I thought for a second you were the man I always thought you were. You looked so vulnerable.
Mason: I am vulnerable. I can show you my Achilles heel, two feet of clay.
Mary: You're six feet of clay, Mason, but I'm not going to be touched by any more, I'm not going to have any more moment of weakness, I promise.
Mason: Come on, Mary, you were not overcome with compassion; you meant every word you said. You love me.
Mary: Wrong tense, Mason. Did, I did.
Mason: That's one reason I want you to come to my party tomorrow night, so you can see me as I really am, all pretense dropped aside, no costume, no mask, real me.
Mary: Oh, real you.
Mason: Come and see. At least, think about it, and then come or not, as you please.
