Chapter 63 — Paris, Paris...

Paris. The week after.
It's the morning. The sunrise shining over Parisian streets, caretakers are just beginning for workings and bakers hurried to put "open" on doors of their own places and greet first buyers by flavor of miraculous fresh breads.
Mason stand beside hotel's window and enjoying by Eiffel Tower like it was a photo shot print id showing itself by a sunrise from the semidarkness sky. Finally when the tower's top begins is shining with a sun; he turned in darkness of the room. Mary calmly asleep and from Mason's place he can see only her dark figure on the pillow. He turned to the window again, drawing in himself inimitable Parisian spirit that he can feel here in an every minor thing. Even in a vignette on a menu in restaurant, even in Monometer's flavor, even just in views of awaking city... He was happy that he can share all of it's with Mary. He saw how her eyes are shining when she feels the same that he feels. These were moments of absolute happiness for them both.
Santa Barbara and California are seemed so distant now. Mason felt the prick of shame when he's having recalled about his children, who stayed in his father's house. But they just could not take them with them, it's would be too many troubles for pregnant Mary. And finally he wanted that they can be alone. On liberty, without any fears, feel be lucky and in private.
"Well, you got this, Mason," he suddenly heard.
"What I got?" he watchful asked, surprised by so close coincidence of Mary's words and his own thoughts.
"We are together, we are lucky and we are alone," Mary said and come close to him and embraced for shoulders.
"Are actually read you in my thoughts?"
"Just your thoughts are close to mine," she smiled. "So where we are going today? May be we would take ice skates?"
"No!" Mason afraid. "It is impossible; you can fall down on ice!"
"Too sorry," Mary false upset and then giggled, "But I afraid that you will not want go to that shops that I noticed still yesterday. I saw so charming baby overalls!"
"Interesting how you could notice overalls from car's window?"
"How I doing usually, they were exposed on shop window."
Mason theatrical roll over eyes, but Mary push him in the side.
"Well I saw how much bellboy brought boxes with toys here after your yesterday's shopping!"
"OK, I give in! I really feel that I ready buy up the half of local shops."
"And in my opinion you practically do like this... So where we are going today?"
"Let's just stroll, OK?" Mason offered after the pause. "We are hurry then planning... Let's pretend that we are parisians."
"O Messieurs Capwell!" Mary stretched with french pronounce, but Mason twitched her nose.
"No, I am seriously. Let's stay for little time in our fairy-tale world where we are owners."
"Let's go," Mary called back unexpectedly seriously. "While we have this possibility--"
"I thought about the same. Quite soon we would need to return in real life with problems and troubles. We must steal from the fate just a little part of a calm peace."
"I agree. Let's go, mon ami!"

Santa Barbara. The same day.
"Did call Mary and Mason yet?" Eden asked CC. They have lunch in Capwell's house since Cruz was out of the town for an urgent case in Canada and Kelly and Ted earlier run away for somewhere and skipped their breakfast.
"After yesterday's bell, no, they didn't," GEO Capwell Enterprise called back and again turns to the business newspaper.
"I am not surprised," Eden said and dreamy rolled over her eyes. "In Paris you easy may to forget everything--"
"Though I do not understand what the thing that you find in Paris is," CC put away the newspaper and takes his cafe. "Just a beauty town, there is nothing special. London it's I can understand. And Dublin too, it's really special place."
Eden looked at him with a strange glance and said nothing.
"What is wrong?" CC finally asked.
"Nothing. Just I never knew that you have some passes to British Kingdom.
"If you heard the tales of London from Emmet, my father and your grandfather, you did not wonder. London was his native land, he recall it though his life recalled."
"Really? Did live my grandfather in London?"
"As a child. Your great-grandfather brings him in California when he was just a kid."
"I never heard that he did."
"Regrettably except my father nobody in our family miss on London. I prefer London to Paris, but it's not my town if you understand me," CC looked at his watch and get up. "It's time; I have the business meeting soon. Bye, sweetie!"
"Bye," Eden absently watched after her father. London? Dublin? Her great-grandfather and grandfather? How strange was hear all of that from her father!
