Chapter 67 — Morning Even After
The morning sun is brightly shining in the window of one of Hotel Capwell's room. Curtains have been closed leaky, and sun's beams easily reached Samantha's cot. The girl was wrinkled from light and turned away. Her brother was in the best position. In the hotel was not a second cot, and parents have compelled to take him in bed to themselves where now all of three were protected by bed curtains from the sun.
Mason turned over on his side of the bed and the movement makes Chip, which usually woke up early to wake up now. The boy murmured something and yawned. He opened his eyes, looked round around and quickly crawling on the bed. He was already on the very edge when Mary felt his movement. She sat down thinking where she is. Her sleepy sight suddenly stopped on the baby who already dangerously tended towards the floor.
"Chip!"
"What is happens?" Mason sat down on the bed. Samantha wake up and begin to cry.
"Mary, what is happens with Chip?" he anxiously asked, seeing that she hugs the baby. "What is wrong?"
"He almost fell from the bed! I have been said that it is dangerous to leave him to sleep with us," Mary deeply sighed and given the non-contented boy to his father and she go to calm down Samantha.
"Nothing happened," Mason a little confusedly responded. "And today we'll have already two beds, I will take care about."
"Yes, try it, please. Besides we need have the big arena, a go-cart and new auto sitting for the Chip--"
"You have really well requests!"
"It's not for at me, but for them," Mary looked at Samantha and smiled. The girl turned the smile. "The children too quickly grow."
At the point the there is the knock of at room's door. Mary and Mason looked each other. The knock has repeated. "It's your breakfast, Mr. and Mrs. Capwell!"
"I'll go," Mary told and goes to open the door with Samantha on her hands.
The hotel servant rolled little tables with the breakfast and quickly disappeared after having received tip.
"You actually taken care about all as I can see," Mary told. She put Samantha on the bed and now raised covers on dishes. "And when you only have a time?"
"If you mean the breakfast I did not order it."
"Not you? But who did then?"
"I think that there is only person who was able to do it if it's not mistake and the breakfast is not supposed to other room."
"Do you think that? It's done by... your father?"
"Sins pray for forgiveness."
Mason, who doesn't want to risk letting go his wonderful little son to walking, approached to the little table with him on hands.
"Look here is children's food including Sammie's favorite one."
"Well, it is good. Give to me Chip, please, I'll feed him. Do you must to go out?"
"Yes, unfortunately," Mason take his toasts and coffee. "Cases accumulated too many until now and I'll need for pair centuries for arrange its. But I remember about children's bed. God, I never forget your shout!"
"And also the good arena, a go-cart and auto sitting!"
"My God!" Mason rolled over eyes. Mary started giggling, and then she goes closer and gave a kiss to his cheek. Chip, who was on her hands, did the same and Mason's cheek is decorated with the big stain of porridge.
"Thanks!" Mason erased porridge and licked his finger. "It's very tasty," he expressively looked at the son who is wide smiling. Mary laughter.
Mason looked at both of them, and warm tenderness lapped inside him. Actually it's happens? His children, his wife. The family. In total several months ago he was just terribly unhappy, and now those events seem such far as if there were many years back. Suddenly Mason's consciousness reached that him ask something.
"What? Sorry, I reflected--"
"I did ask when repair will be finished in your apartment?"
"In our apartment. We now are the family, do you remember?"
"I do. Just I am not got used yet," Mary confusedly looked at him. "So when?"
"I think that until the end of this week. Especially if to pay to workers overtime," Mason winked. "Don't worry, it'll all be alright! But it's actually our house from anybody could adrift us... What is the time! I am late. I have a time for the shower only!
Mason left in the shower, and Mary began to feed Sammie, thinking that their house can be destroyed anywhere they did live. Uncle Larry... left he his attempts to separate her and Mason? Or he will persist until he will reach the end? How long time he'll keep away by a danger of exposure?
"Who is "he?" She heard Mason's voice. He left out shower and now put on.
"Uncle Larry. I am afraid that he will not leave us alone."
"Then he will be brought to justice," Mason firmly told. "Nobody allowed following people by only cause that someone is not pleasant by someone's relatives.
He fastened his tie before the mirror and embraced Mary, already in midway to the door.
"Don't be afraid, nobody can spoil to our life. I will not allow him."
Mary embraced him too and thoughtfully looked to after him. She believed that they can stop her uncle, but did not want that war has burst.
