Chapter 24 — The Trouble Night (2 Part)
"... Mason, stop to look at me by the way. You make me uncomfortable," voice's Mary taken away Mason from his thoughts.
"I am sorry."
"You spoke that you are extreme hungry. And you ate almost nothing."
"Overwise you didn't the same," Mason's eyes flashed in seconds. "I never imagined that you can are so much hungry in far for midnight. Mary? What is wrong?"
"Just... I just thought--"
"About?" Mason was concerned.
"Never mind," Mary smiled. "It was unimportant. Mason, if you not seem that we need to have a rest today?"
"It seems to me. Let's go to sleep."
Mason put some cash on their table and they go out. Mary just goes back to the hotel, but Mason kept her by her hand.
"Lets caught some fresh air. You just look around. What is perfect night!"
"It is very quiet. Even too."
"The too quiet anything cannot be."
"Can be. Mason, I am worry," Mary suddenly said. "It seems that a bad thing comes to us."
"There are not any bad things. My God, I hugging you and still I do not believe that you are not my dream! You are too good for being the truth!"
"I don't sure that I am too good, but I am the truth," Mary giggling. "But if you do not believe in my being, I will try to prove you that I am real."
She bring her face to the Mason's face and become kiss him. Mason very passionately answered.
"Mason, we have around people!"
"Forget! Nobody around!"
"Mason!" Mary pushes out him."
"OK, OK. Look, we are just as two teens," he laughed.
"I would like to become be teenager again and to relive my past," Mary becomes sad.
"But then we can never met each another, and I cannot image that I could don't meet you. Mary--"
"What?" Mason's face was so close that Mary feeling his breath.
"Mary, I wanted to ask--"
"Go on," Mary told when she seen that Mason stopped in hesitating. "About what you want to ask me? About Mark?" she assumed.
"Not. About your father," Mason finally said. "Who was he?"
"About my father?" Mary puzzled repeated. "But why you wonder about him?"
"Just think that I want to know absolutely all about you."
"But I can almost nothing to tell you about him. I do not almost remember him. I was just six years, when he died."
"I am sorry, I did not want--"
"Its OK, just I do not really know that I can to tell you."
"Well, and it is not necessary. Forget. OK, Mary, lets go to sleep."
"OK."

"Mason's sell phone does not answer," Kelly said already in the fourth time. "Probably, he switched off it."
"You are sure that he could not be at home when there was this explosion?"
"I am sure. Dad, I talked with hum for a pair of hours up to this. He was not going to come before next morning."
"But you something hiding, it is clear. Kelly, all are already too serious for play in games.
"To hold the promise is not the game. Daddy, Mason will arrive in the morning, and you will ask him about everything."
"Where he will arrive? Kelly, think, please, what is he will see when he will return?"
"But we all the same can not communicate him, am I correctly? Even if I would tell you who are person with him we're unable to warn him."
Cruz comes in the living room.
"The apartment had nobody," he informed Capwells and the sigh of relief pass on the room. "Kelly, I need to talk with you. Accompany me to my car, OK?"

They left out.
"Kelly, it seems to me that I know for who you given the promise to speak nothing."
"And for whom?" Kelly did not trust Cruz yet.
"This person was Mary, correctly? Mary Duvall who thought is dead."
"How you can found out about?" Kelly's eyes become wide in surprising.
"You mean that I am right--" Cruz gone deeply in his thoughts. "OK, let's go as it is going. I saw documents where her name appeared. Mason submitted on restoration her in the civil rights," he answered on asking Kelly's sight. "I hope that he know that he doing--"
"You are against Mary?" Kelly choked with anger.
"I don't, just I meaning another idea. OK, I need to go. Tell me if there'll news from your brother, OK?"
Cruz disappeared in darkness of the night, and Kelly in silence returned to the house. The situation became more and more strange.
