Chapter 45 — Just A Good Time Together.
But The Big Storm Already Too Close
There are passed more than two weeks. Mary began to getting in and in times it seemed her that she even did not leave Capwell's house. All are the same as earlier...
However as earlier now was not everything. The Capwell family is changed after this year, she can see it now. Even Mason is changed. He becomes more serious, and his fears about her seemed never leave his mind. Mary gradually ceased to be afraid but she wanted that Mason do the same, and he cannot.
However, his terrible fear for her safety become much smaller, but still remained rather significant. Even if she leave out to Capwell's garden for a half of an hour as he become to search her. Sometimes Mary is bothering his so full-time presence, but she did not show large disliking, understanding that he had an awful time, when he thought that she is dead.
But as soon as the problem of their safety departed on background, there were different ones — about which Mary even did not suspect.
One of them was her attitude to Chip and Sammy. The fact is that she ever more became attached to them and spent with them ever more of time. But she felt no enough sure as all time she remembered that they are not her own children, and Mason's strange looks which sometimes she caught when she did play with the children bring her to the idea that he... is jealous.
Mary has the only hope that he is getting over his feeling but she cannot to refuse herself to be with his babies. They were such amusing! Especially Chip who was older and communicated more than Sammy. Looking at them when they are both playing in the Pack-n-Play Mary often thought about her soon-be baby. Who will be similar with the baby? She or Mason? And just who is become from he or she? She cannot wait when the baby will begin moving inside her...
Mason knows nothing about Mary's ideas and doubts. He was worried about thing which Mary, it seems, absolutely forgot. About the mysterious person, who wanted to kill him and lets Mary to be alive. He try his best to find even one answer to fringe this person, but without success. He even droved again to Christie and tried gets more info from her about the robber who she was seen while he and Mary were on Tahoe. But Christie remembers nothing more. Nothing was leave to Mason except to let all be down, but in his mind he constantly held the memory about all happened thing and remember that there are danger even now.

"Mary takes the phone," Rose comes in children's room, where Mary enjoys playing with babies on the floor.
"Is it Christie?" Mary stands up, feeling discomfort with Rose and babies in the same time. She found be rather strange to live in Capwell's house not as CC's nurse but Mason's fiancee.
"No, it is not your sister," Rose shook her head. "The man."
Mary comes to the phone. She wait a few seconds go away her fear that it is Mark, and then she lifted up the receiver.
"Hello?"
"Mary?" the voice seems to her be strange familiar, but Mary could not understand who is talking.
"Yes. Who is it?" the question was not a kind of polite, but lately Mary already almost forgot times when she do not need to look at a each person as if he can be their enemy killer.
"It is unimportant," his answer sounded strange and scares.
"What are you wanted?" Mary does not let him to continue. "Leave me alone! Listen?! Let me alone Mason and me too!"
She throws down the receiver on the phone and embraced herself for her shoulders by her arms. No matter who is the person but after a few minutes of talking he relives all her fears which she becomes get rid of.

Mary told nothing Mason about the call. She did not want to worry him for nothing — clearly she was called by the lunatic! In any case she convinced herself that he is just a lunatic — who have enough nerves to call to her directly in Capwell house! But there was one more reason. This voice in the phone receiver... She listen it a few seconds only, but it bring her strange memoirs. It was no voice of her father, about who she thought first. But nevertheless this voice sounded as something strange familiar to her. As if she already heard it earlier but long time ago...
However in next morning the whole Capwell house was terrified with news that Mason just had one more attempt of attack.
