She collects contributions to the clinic and asks Mason if he wants to give something. He refuses. Mary invites him to the Christmas party at the clinic and asks Ted to play the role of Santa Clause. |

Leaving the house, Mary runs into Janice, whom Mason defiantly offers to meets his family. |

After the short conversation with Capwells, Mason and Janice leave. |

Late in the evening Janice brings rather drunk Mason back. |
