The day of judgment on David Laurent. Mason is required to be at the court early in the morning. Mary is going to accompany him but Mason is not sure the news will be good.
Mary thinks he must win the case, as he has worked hard. Mason says it cannot guarantee the victory. Mary says she wants him to become more self-confident right now.
Mason mugs. Mary kisses and says she will inspire him. Mason says that Mary slept badly this night and she answers she had a nightmare in which everybody learnt about the baby. Mason says nobody will know about it until Mason and Mary do not want it.
They declare their love, and as a result, Mary has to pull Mason out of the bed.
At the court Keith yells that if they lose this case it will be only Mason to blame. CC approaches Mary and Mason and asks what Mason thinks about the judgment. Looking at him and Mary, Mason answers he is very self-assured.
The verdict is "innocent".
Mason congratulates Julia on her victory. Keith visits Mason and accuses him of the failure, the latter says they did everything they could. Mary defends Mason, accusing Sheila and her testimony. Mason adds that they should have trusted the intuition of Cruz at the very beginning. After Keith's leaving Mary feels sick because of anxiety.
