In the next scene Mason speaks to Janice. Out of their conversation he sees that Gina made their date frustrated and poisoned him. |
Mark comes and wonders how Mason feels himself. Mason is not very polite to him and Mark leaves. Janice warns Mason that Mark may be dangerous. |
After Janice's departure and verbal tussle with Eden and Kirk Mason sees Mary. They have a nice talk. |
Mason asks Mary to be careful with Mark, tells her about Janice's warning. Mary smiles in answer and says he needs a rest. Then she adds she is not afraid of Mark and leaves. |
Later she returns and sees Mason sleeping. |
Thinking he does not hear her, Mary says to Mason that she feared for him this day although she tried not to show this, and that she loves him. |
When Mary leaves the room, Mason opens his eyes and it becomes clear that he has heard everything. |
